1-to-1 Reformer & Mat Classes for Dancers

If you are a dancer and would like to work on developing your strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility or need to rehabilitate post injury, these targeted sessions can help you reach your goals.

Located at my home studio in Esher, Surrey, these1-to-1sessions focus on developing a balance of strength and flexibility, engaging deeper core muscles and drawing awareness to individual postural habits. As part of this work I carry out a full postural analysis to understand areas of imbalance or misalignments that may lead to poor technique and potential injury in a dance context.

An individualised programme will then be created to help address these postural tendencies and enhance performance potential.

Dance studio Classes

If you own or teach at a dance studio and would like to include Pilates to support your dancers in training, these group sessions can be tailored to specific areas of focus. The low back and hip joints are common sites of pain and injury in dancers. Pilates can help to appropriately strengthen and stretch the supporting muscles in these areas and encourage a better awareness of breath, control, and technique.

As part of these sessions dancers will receive useful resources including fact sheets and age appropriate resources to help support their work.
